Early in 2007 following two years of negotiations and agreements with the Local Authority, we commenced the conversion of the grade II listed barns at Daleacre Farm. These buildings all had there own original specific use from a forge to the dairy, the stables to the hayloft with the granary completing the quadrangle arrangement of barns. Converting the buildings was a pure pleasure and now complete they are probably one of the best examples of mid 19th century conversion in the area.

In addition to the conversions Soar Valley Homes then renovated the substantial six bedroom farmhouse along with the adjacent four bedroom cottage.

Daleacre Court attracted immense interest with three barns being reserved on the first open day, and more recently had four separate buyers for the renovated period farmhouse. The Granary which was the largest conversion in 2008 was the winner of the Nottingham Evening Post new homes award for best attached home.

Daleacre (Phase II)

Currently in the planning stage is the development of the land to the west off Daleacre Court. This site will comprise of five properties from three to five bedrooms. A mix of tradition and contemporary will be incorporated in the construction along with a major step towards the green issues. Therefore solar panelling, water harvesting, ground source heat pumps and increases in insulation are just a few of the installations Soar Valley will include in this second phase development.
